 Library Hours

The library is open from 7:15am to 3:15pm Monday through Thursday and from 7:15am to 3:00pm on Friday. Serious scholars are welcome to study, read, use computers for class assignments, or play chess. Special events and activities may occasionally affect hours of operation.

 

Students visiting the library during class time need three items: a red MHS hall pass signed by their teacher, a current MHS ID card and an assignment that requires use of library materials. Visiting students are expected to work independently and follow our library rules.

Circulation Policies

Books may be checked out for two weeks. They may be renewed, unless there is a waiting list. Late books are assessed a 10 cent per school day fee. Overnight books are due before closing the next school day and are assessed $1 per each school day late. Lost or damaged books will be charged the cost of full replacement.
